2010 - Antioch, Illinois' Downtown is home to four Arts and Crafts Faires each year. The Antioch Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosts a Faire each season, beginning with an indoor Faire the end of January, followed by an outdoor Jewelry and Accessory Faire in May. The Summer Arts and Crafts Faire, traditionally held on Father's Day Weekend each year is followed by our Fall Arts and Crafts Faire which is held the weekend after Labor Day.
Antioch's Arts and Crafts Faires are not your "run of the mill" craft faires. These Faires have grown in size over the past five years to more than 140 booths of hand-crafted goods for Summer and Fall. Antioch's Faires attract crafters from all around the country. It's not unusual to meet crafters from California, Florida, Ohio, and the Carolinas. Antioch's reputation for a great show with an interesting variety of wares draws approximately 5,000 to 12,000 people browsing through each faire. Admission is free for all ages.
Antioch's Winter Craft Faire is an indoor Faire that has grown for 2011! This Faire will feature a touch of early spring to help get ready for Easter, Spring, and Summer. Many other great seasonal crafts will be available. The Winter Faire features some of the best hand-crafted items in the Midwest! Join us once again in 2011! (Applications can be found here.)
Antioch's Spring Jewelry & Accessory Craft Faire promises lots more BLING for 2011! Browse among the crafters as they line up on Antioch's Downtown Sidewalks. Watch for the cute market umbrellas scattered throughout the Downtown, as there are great crafts waiting underneath - not to mention a lot more on the surrounding sidewalks! Join us for this great, fun Faire next spring! (Applications can be found here.)
Antioch's Summer Arts and Crafts Faire boasts a wide array of crafts…you'll find many different types of crafts including woods, metals, jewelry, ceramics, apparel, quilts, candles, photography, home-baked goods, purses, and some early seasonal decor.
