Artists: Showcase your Artistic Talents
The Antioch Chamber is hosting a Public Art Event called DOGS ON THE CHAIN.
THANK YOU TO THE 100+ ARTISTS WHO SENT IN DOG DESIGNS FOR ANTIOCH'S 2010 PUBLIC ART PROGRAM . . . DOGS ON THE CHAIN (of Lakes).
WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING DESIGNS FOR 2010. CHECK BACK IN LATE 2010 TO SEE INFORMATION REGARDING A FUTURE PUBLIC ART PROGRAM.
Event for 2010 . . . Antioch’s DOGS ON THE CHAIN (of Lakes). Antioch will be overrun with standing and seated dogs for this event. Chicago began with cows . . . Antioch begins with the family dog for our first Public Art Event.
This is our first year for Public Art and we look forward to enjoying the artistic creativity of our local Art Community. We hope to share with the Public dozens of artistic DOGS ON THE CHAIN.
Throughout 2010, your art will have many opportunities to be enjoyed by the public. Promotion of your artwork will include:
· Posting on our DOGS ON THE CHAIN portion of this website, including Artist bio;
· Artist bio featured in print media developed specifically for this program;
· Artist bio display on signage appearing with Dog;
· Artist promotional appearances at local Public Art Events;
· Additional Artist bio opportunities to be developed within the Project.
The Design Committee will select the designs for our 2010 Public Art Event. These designs will be viewed by our sponsors as they select the artist for their dog. Thank you for your enthusiasm for Antioch’s DOGS ON THE CHAIN!
